James is a Los Angeles based production designer, art director & set designer.
Most recently James worked as an art director on Field of Dreams for Peacock Streaming, and set designed for Outer Range, First Ladies, Ghosted, Presumed Innocent amongst others. James also designed for Beck's 2019 tour, Deaf West Theatre, A Noise Within, The Fountain Theatre and IAMA Theatre. Before Los Angeles James worked throughout the New York area with such companies as The Public, The York Theatre Company, Origin Theatre, The Irish Rep, AADA, & Pace University. Originally from Atlanta, GA James designed with such companies as Theatrical Outfit, Dad's Garage Theatre, Alliance Theatre For the Very Young, Habima Theatre and many others.
James received his BA from Kennesaw State University, and his Masters from UCLA School of Theatre Film and Television.
Member of IATSE Local #800- Art Directors Guild.
